Employment

Darrel L. Good is a professor and Cooperative Extension Service Economist with the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He has major extension and aces responsibilities in the area of agricultural price forecasting.

Education

A native of Illinois, Good received his bachelor's and master's degree from Southern Illinios University and his doctoral degrees from Michigan State University. Prior to joining the staff in 1976, he was an assistant professor of Agricultural Economics at Cornell University.

Research

Good has co-authored a textbook, Price Forecasting and Sales Management, and is a major author of the Weekly Outlook and Grain Price Outlook newsletters. He has written numerous articles and bulletins on the subjects of price forecasting, price outlook, and the development of marketing strategies.
