Welcome to the Seed Quality Information resource
within Stratsoy. My name is Dennis Thompson and
I serve as manager of Illinois
Crop Improvement Association, Inc. which is
headquartered in Champaign, Illinois. Our organization
(ICIA) is the unbiased authority for seed certification
and grain quality analysis in Illinois. Operating
as an independent, not-for-profit organization,
ICIA enhances the value of seed and crops through
five different programs: the Certification Program,
the Quality Assurance Program, the Identity Preserved
Grain Laboratory, the Puerto Rico Winter Farm and
the ICIA Greenhouse.
My agronomic background is strongest in crop production areas related to corn, soybeans, wheat, oats and
forage grasses and legumes grown under midwestern U.S. conditions. In the event you have seed and/or grain
quality questions upon which you think I may shed light, you are most welcome to contact me through
Stratsoy.
