Greeting from the Expert

I am pleased to be a part of the StratSoy project. As I understand my role in StratSoy, I will receive and attempt to answer your questions related to tillage, soil compaction and machinery management. Here in the Agricultural Engineering Department at the University of Illinois, I have worked on comparing various tillage systems for corn and soybean production, soil compaction as affected by tillage (or lack of tillage) and wheel traffic, and machinery management including selection, operation, and costs.
